Yeah at my previous job I was forced to use Windows for Office/Adobe, but now I get more freedom and use Linux. Really depends on the organisation and how you’re expected to collaborate.
They indicated that they want to switch, but if work forces you to use Office and Adobe then that is what you’re stuck with.
Why did the British owner class allow for this to happen? Have there been any big privatisation efforts after Brexit? Did they hope the NHS would crumble?
I guess the birthrate wasn’t close enough to 0 yet.

Same here! It’s such a lovely engine. Conceptually a lot easier to grasp than other ones and first class support for Linux.
Also much cheaper there. And you have a lot of pubs to go to. And you can drink them when you’re 16.

Joe Biden would probably be one of the more right wing members in the liberal party here (which is a right wing party). The US definitions of liberal and conservative are totally out of touch with the actual philosophical/ideological underpinnings of those terms.
Water, land, and (existing) housing could be examples of this. However, I reckon the core point here is that while businesses are groups of people, there is social labor and private profit.
Basically everyone I’ve talked to in my age range that has kids basically has Stockholm syndrome, but I guess there are also enough people that do intrinsically enjoy having kids.
