I neglected to think about that, thank you. I’ll edit my comment.

Not trying to rag on you, but pretty much anyone can draw (barring fairly severe mental and or physical disabilities), you just place judgement on yourself that you can’t draw “well”. Which, by the way for a simple comic like this, you don’t really need to draw well to express your idea well. I like that AI can help make the creation of things like this quick and easy for people, but I also encourage you to try things that you think you “can’t do” and let go of that judgement you place on yourself for what it needs to be.
It’s spoken about in the video, but a woman called Kris that worked for Mr Beast had some controversy come about I think grooming children or being a pedophile (not sure about details). Mr Beast feigned ignorance about it, but the guy in the OP video claims it was an “open secret everybody knew”. He also says it’s even worse than “just” that because Mr Beast’s company specifically works with understanding how to manipulate child psychology and bring children in, and videos etc have brought minors into easier access by Kris.
You might be getting a lot of weird right wing shit because Kris is a trans woman and a common right wing accusation against trans people is that they are pedophiles.
Holy shit tell me about it, but I kinda thought maybe I was just being paranoid about it because of all the money that he has put towards philanthropic things.
😂 I’m familiar with many of them because I liked math in school and went through all of primary and middle school without a digital calculator. This one is one I hadn’t heard of before and, again because I like math, I’m interested in understanding 1) what the trick is and 2) mathematically how it works out
Oh awesome that’s a neat trick I’ve never seen before. How does that work? For a number like 700 for example, 7 + 0 + 0 = 7 but 700 is visible by 10.
That’s super nice! One of the biggest things keeping me on Spotify has been just how much new music I’m able to find that I enjoy because of its algorithm. This feature is one I’m sorely missing though so I’ll have to check out plexamp!
How does it compare to “go to song radio” on Spotify?
Ah wait this need for a “come down” from stimulation might explain a lot of things for me.
If I’m coming down from a long day/walk/etc. the tiredness hits me, but if I don’t go to bed and fall asleep fast enough, even if I’m relaxing, then I will no longer be sleepy and will struggle to fall asleep.
Nom de poon it’s gold
WAIT WTF ITS NOT JUST ME HOLY SHIT I
Hey man idk why you’re being so hostile to people responding to you, but it is the point OP is making. They’re saying that ANY Linux distro, including Ubuntu, are seen as ‘hipsters’ to average PC users, but within the Linux community Ubuntu is very basic AKA not hipster.
Off the top of my head, the easiest analogy is that having your favorite song be Creep by Radiohead might be seen as kinda alternative/hipster to someone who listens to pop music, but to anyone in the indie community or radiohead fans, it’s seen as the opposite.
Thank you so much for your in-depth advice and explanation!
Yeah I always go out and read as many reviews on a product as I can to feel comfortable with my decision, especially for an expensive purchase :)
Oof 6 months? 😬 That’s not a lot considering their cost. Thanks for the feedback

I did that for a while and (anecdotally) it only delayed the effectiveness from reducing, didn’t stop it.
Yeah the Vyvanse side effects wore off for me too, but so did it’s efficacy over time even though I rarely take it every day. I did take it daily for a couple months recently though.
Yes I agree, I have been looking around at others’ footwear and I do see some sneakers (though nicer cleaner looking ones than the ones I’m wearing, which aren’t bad, they’re solid black, but the design is very casual and sporty). For this reason I’m thinking I might look for Birkenstock boots and a pair of comfortable white sneakers. I’ll look into the go walks, I like the roomier shoes! Thanks :)
I think it’s more a reference to pausing the doom scrolling which is maybe a habit to avoid the boredom or discomfort of the current situation, and trying to focus on enjoying that. Enjoying your time eating lunch or dinner, and focusing on that, instead of scrolling or watching a video always. Enjoying a walk without a podcast or music. Enjoying the comfort of being safe and warm in bed instead of distracting from thoughts. Things like that. It’s a skill you build and as you build it you will be more open to getting dopamine from sources other than doomscrolling. Other benefits include being able to manage uncomfortable thoughts and feelings better and also have the boredom and discomfort drive you to do other things. Of course this works best when paired with things like DBT skills to help with thoughts and emotions.
