I will say this, the quality of what goes in has improved quite a bit from my younger years.

Aphids? I had those.
I ended up washing the plants down with water regularly.
It’s either that or poison. I think ladybugs are also a solution.
Someone suggested to spraying the plants with soapy water, but that damaged the leaves as much as the aphids without killing them or keeping them off.
It was always this dangerous.
You just hear about it at an increased rate and with more fluff thanks to click hungry internet media.
That would be wasteful. I mean, it’s a country where the state has organ farms (and worse).
Why just kill someone, when you can harvest and/or sell them?
It’s good if you want something more ‘close to the books’ story wise.
However, the Harkonnens are quite dialed back (they always are). And everything is low budget.
But personally, I enjoyed it and still re-watch it from time to time.
This guy has some really good recipes.
He can be a bit fuzzy on the amounts of the ingredients, but so far everything I’ve made is really good.
I can highly recommend the Caribbean-Style Mango-Habanero Hot Sauce.
My chilies are ripening and I’m looking forward to trying out some new hotsauce recipes. Sadly, due to an aphid infestation killing all the new flowers, it’ll be the only harvest this year.
But with a bit of luck, the plants will survive the winter and bare fruit again next year.
