I’ve had similar thoughts. It’s ocean-side cities along America’s West coast, it’s along the same coast as some of the most desirable locations to live in the world (SF, LA, and many cities in between and beyond.) it seems strange that the population moves further inland when you look on a map.

The logic isn’t strictly wrong per se, it’s just something akin to a tautology, it means nothing.

I think the whole conversation is muddied because we tend to only identify neurodivergent people after they have been traumatized, not always but people tend to only seek help and diagnosis after they have had major troubles. Literally part of the DSM criteria for diagnosis is that the neurodivergence has to give the person issues when they try to function in society.

It’s a catch-22 when you say the world is built for neurotypical people because neurodivergence is partially defined as someone for whom the world isn’t built for.

I think it’s also that we only define someone as neurodivergent if they’ve been traumatized otherwise you’re just a spicy normal person.

The whole point of AI hate anyway is that there is physically no world in which this happens. Any LLM we have now, no matter how much power we give it, is incapable of abstract thought or especially self-interest. It’s just a larger and larger chatbot that would not be able to adapt to all of the systems it would have to infiltrate, let alone have the impetus to do so.

The great thing about this job is that you can cash 300k without doing anything because as soon as you hear the code word you just have to ignore it for 10 seconds and the world ends anyway.

Some people like that trump is a freak, they excuse the most heinous shit for the people that think he’s a freak, but he’s a necessary evil to take down the deep state or necessary to fulfil biblical prophecy, who in turn provide excuses for those who think he’s kind of bad but will help the economy who in turn provide excuses for the “centrists” who didn’t vote for him but think the accusations are blown out of proportion.
