Please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you’re used to!
How did you get it for Android? The dead keys on the international layout are driving me mad!
There are newer types of CBT that are autism friendly/aware, but it’s unlikely for your average therapist to 1; be trained in them and 2; be aware of, and able to spot autism in a patient.
I’ve had multiple therapists and psychiatrists where, despite them having many years experience I was their first autistic patient.
Perhaps it is different elsewhere in the world, but that’s how it is in Denmark.
And (edit: traditional) CBT is widely known to not be effective (and in fact often harmful) for autistic individuals. There is no “winning” over autism, you can only learn to live with it, and its limitations.
I used to have the mindset of “not letting autism restrict me”. It led to two rounds of severe burnout, depression, cPTSD, and anxiety, lasting multiple years, as well as severe skill loss.
Why is it always fucking pods!? (Fucking-pods?)
Which model?
When I tried on ChatGPT 4, it wrote a short python script and executed it to get a random integer.
import random
# Pick a random number between 1 and 100
random_number = random.randint(1, 100)
random_number
Very true. It’s been months since I’ve used it for anything other than replying to messages on Android Auto.
They have. They’ve announced they’re going to cut a bunch of features from Assistant.
I’ve now telefragged my colleague.
“The greater good!”
The glitch-soc fork of Mastodon allows you to show or hide specific tags, yes.
CW stands for “Content Warning”. It’s a feature that allows users to hide their posts behind a warning message.
Some commonly used CWs include NSFW, Politics, Mental Health (Some times shortened to “MH”, often with a +/- depending on sentiment), Spoilers, Food, Alcohol/drugs, and flashing GIF/video.
That’s awesome!
BTW, just to make it clear; I’m not saying “Yay plastic, plastic is the only way!”. I am saying that the current alternatives aren’t suitable for all cases.
Personally, as a (mostly) able-bodied person, I carry reusable silicone straws with me.
A lot of disabled people who need straws have difficulties controlling their muscles, so a metal straw is a good way to break their teeth, the same goes for wood and other hard straws. Paper straws are also unusable for them, as they break too quickly, and silicone straws are too floppy. Plastic straws really are the only suitable option for them.
As far as we know.
Hey, hvor er Perry?
Definite +1 for No Rolls Barred. I recently discovered them through their Communist Monopoly House Rules episode. It’s been a long time since I’ve laughed that much at a video.
I use Home Assistant to automate a bunch of things, including notifying me when the laundry or dishwasher is done, and setting the do not disturb modes on my personal and work phones, according to my work calendar, and whether I’m on call.
I don’t have anything for tasks currently, as I’ve haven’t found anything that works for me. For medication reminders I use MyTherapy, and then I’ve automated a bunch of stuff on the phone using Tasker. I just downloaded Buzzkill to reign in notifications from instant messengers. Nothing riles me up more than someone sending 3 messages in a row.
