It’s a Twitter clone with a smaller but higher quality community. If you liked Twitter you might like Mastodon. If you never liked Twitter, odds are you won’t like Mastodon either.
IMO, it still suffers from the same lords-and-peasants system as Twitter since it’s entirely follower based.

One person on your instance needs to join for the community to appear. That is the major benefit of joining a large instance, you don’t need to search other instances or use 3rd party tools to find new communities.
Makes sense that the rain is the puzzle, but it wasn’t immediately obvious to me since the rain started after I had already burned away a few thorns.
Ended up building a roof and that worked. Was that the point of the tower? Does the rain actually last forever?
