51·1 year agoAh yes. She gets herself sent to county jail one night. The officer thinks she got sent to prison so he gets himself sent to prison, only for her to finish her 48 hour hold and get released… And then find out he’s doing 25 to life.
Or company A buys company B and raises prices.
For an American, that’s so counterintuitive lol.

4·1 year agoThat seems valid. I think at least part of the problem is culture. Millennials were taught that college is a necessary stepping stone to a superior job, which it was in previous generations, but not so much nowadays.
Pilot Precise V7 is the GOAT. It’s my everyday pen. The Sharpie S-Gel is a close second, and then there’s ol’ faithful, the G2.

I find it’s easier to engage on Lemmy. One can share a different viewpoint and often find discussion rather than being shit on because you’re not part of the echo chamber.

I always enjoyed that feature. If memory serves, my Galaxy S4 had that and I found it useful.
