I wonder how many people are confusing booker and Jeffries. Is booker (senator from NJ) in a leadership role? While he sucks for his own reasons, if he wants to boot Schumer, I’m with him on that at least.

Strait is closed because we went to war with undefined goals that have now become… Open the strait.
Lives and treasure burned for literally nothing except Israel’s bloodyhirst

Trump weakness but this was a primary and the seat is likely to stay red

I think Trump voted by mail against her. Another L for him

When there’s so much to object to, how can you tell?

Also, what kind of bitch government needs to tell people how to feel

That’s assuming someone wasn’t looking for an excuse to cancel the sanctions

I hope it hangs around the neck of every feckless congressperson that votes not to keep their constitutional powers

What an unrepentant asshole

Well, now that he’s abdicated his congressional responsibilities of holding war powers (along with purse strings), isn’t he all done with war involvement? Should have plenty of time

I think we ended up with an incentive structure where people are lucratively compensated for fully batshit-insane takes that drive engagement, and this moves the Overton window to normalize what used-to-be a batshit take.
I also think it’s worth investigating those incentives and burning them to the ground and salting the soil beneath them

Oh good. Just what we need. Now there should be a clear winner for dumbest senator; tuberville outlasted mister two-names

I wanted to believe that it wasn’t us, but there’s isn’t any malice or incompetence I could put past this administration.

I think telling a rando to ‘kys’ or whatever kids are saying, is bad. For some reason, though, it feels less objectionably when directed at public figures

Bezos and his ilk that fled there can go with it

Not emough

I think “dark humor” can be a pretty broad term. You were just poking fun and lightheartedly highlighting a real risk of not getting a new charger. On the other hand, I know people that have had house fires and lost every material possession they had. Keepsakes of lost relatives, photo albums, cherished souvenirs, etc. some people have lost loved ones. The older you get, the more you accumulate tragedy, be it first or second-hand. Humor that hurts or scares people isn’t kind, even if you don’t agree with their sensitivity. Then again, when you collect enough tragedy, it can become funny again because you just have to laugh

Weirdly, electric cars are also worse for tire abrasion since they tend to be heavier. Trains and electric bikes (in cities) seems like a good way to go

Metal would wear out too fast on asphalt/concrete though. What if we used metal tyres on metal roads? Less friction, less abrasion! It’d be expensive though to replace the whole road. Maybe just a pair of strips the same width as the tyre spacing. Cars could even connect to each other to reduce aerodynamic drag… Nah, would never work
Not anymore. Another L for the establishment
