Mostly because the US has to actually develop and research new weapon technology and China just copies everything so they don’t need to spend as much.

Well it’s a .ru domain so that site is russian and there is this bit
That is why the current government of Burkina Faso needs Russian assistance not only to ensure victory over terrorism, but also to carry out effective economic reforms, create new jobs, and develop resources on equal terms.
Which doesn’t mean anything per se but it’s kinda suspect.
Does it matter? Endlessly pontificating about the true nature of reality serves no purpose. If I’m driving and I’m about to hit a tree, reality doesn’t give a single fuck if I consider “well maybe the tree isn’t really there. How can I truly know?”
Like, I was talking with a guy and he was saying shit about how can we truly know that what I say is the color green is the same as what you see? It just feels mastubatory. It’s what words are for. If that guy asks me to go to the store and buy forest green paint from a certain brand and I come back with forest green paint from that brand he’s not going to worry about whether or not we see the exact same shade.
I know. I was just saying that the American in the pic is only puzzled because they are mindlessly scrolling and posting on Twitter. When the time comes to go to an event like that they are also just as likely to take the train without much thought to it either
No one is puzzled. This was a case of someone casually scrolling and commenting without critical thought. Which, let’s be honest, we are all guilty of that and the other guy taking the opportunity to dunk with an AmEriCa Am I rIgHt???
Ah. The forgotten lands, according to some maps.
It’s not about how people vote. It’s about getting people to vote. Emotionally charged people are more likely to vote/volunteer/donate etc.
I’m talking out of my ass by the way, I have nothing to prove any of this.
My pet theory is that this was said specifically to destabilize the US. As others have said, this is not new. China has been saying this for a long time. But 100% the GOP is going to call Biden weak for not shutting Xi down and instead saying the US supports a "One China Policy " without any critical thought as to what the dynamics are.
This is to fire up the right wing base.
Zelda BotW and TotK are not fun. The stamina system is pointless and the weapon durability is frustrating. On top of that, the world’s are just sooo empty. There’s really nothing in them. Oh look, an interesting ruin… it’s another repetitive shrine. Oh, that geological formation is really unique aaannnddd it’s another fucking korok seed. That’s all you ever got for exploring. Shrines and korok seeds.
I did like slapping random shit onto my weapons in tears of the kingdom though. All in all to me the games are fine but not really Zelda games.
I live in a very red part of Florida. They’ve all been pretty nice to me. Of course, I’m white, my baby is blonde haired and blue eyed, and I’m in the military. They usually get pretty surprised when I open my mouth and start spouting crazy commie stuff like Trans Rights are Human rights.
I worked with a guy that was a hard-core conservative, like just shy or real far-right talking points. Anyway he told me he doesn’t watch the news. Not that he only watches fox news, I mean he doesn’t watch any news at all. He gets his information from Facebook and tiktok
What a wonderful website. All it needs is flames.gif and a link to a page that has little barricades on it that says “Under construction”
I blame my love of high fantasy on the Xanth series. First it was Xanth, then it was Redwall, now it’s my preferred form of escapism.
I liketo think my take on the conflict is pretty nuanced. Generally, I don’t like the State of Isreal.
Let me be crystal clear with what I just wrote: I believe the government of Isreal has fostered a culture of dehumanizing Palestinians and is complicit in crimes against humanity. This is apparent with its history of stealing land and extra-judicial killings of Palestinian civilians by the IDF. The people of Israel deserve so much better.
This sentiment also largely applies to Palestine. The Hamas Government triggered this conflict by striking at civilians in Israel. I understand that their primary driving ideology is to kill jews and I think that is fucked up. I also understand that after years of the afore mentioned land grabbing and killings it has led to these extreme attacks by Hamas. It really feels like a chicken and egg situation, which started first. Either way the people of Palestine deserve so much better.
I am more than capable of assigning blame to the appropriate places and lament the affects it has on the victims of violence.
Ohh what a fun argument! Is this comment referring to Palestine or Isreal???
Jokes on you, my wife’s Grandmother will click on any and every link she sees.
Ya he’s giving off some real Libertarian/FrEe MaRkEt/whatevenistheageofconsent vibes
It’s a name he adopted while living in Paris, according to Greg Sestero.
No, most of the debt is owned domestically by the people
