It’s about direction of rotation, does the wrench turn left or turn right, there isn’t the same notion of up and down / in and out because that portion happens when the bolt or nut turns. Also, anything rotation is moving the opposite direction on the other side of the rotation, so if you have to tighten a screw that turns towards you it’s the opposite
I remember having a demo for giants: citizen Kabuto, it was a weird and fun third person shooter. The thing I remember most is the initial quest giver guy and the way he would say “huuungry” something about it stuck in my brain
Simple and easy are not the same thing. Sure, enriching uranium is simple, you just centrifuge it so that the heavier, less stable isotopes separate from the bulk. Simple.
The reason it’s relevant is that most working people do not earn salaries, they earn hourly rates. I’m a welding engineer earning a salary, working with maintenance men and welders and operators who all earn hourly rates. Every company I’ve ever worked for has both salary and hourly and also an HR department.
The situation you are describing does not align with the vast majority of working people’s experiences.
Not defending either side, but how often do hourly employees get raises based on performance at your wife’s company? You say performance should lead to salary increases, but what about the majority of people who only make hourly rates?
Should be holding a flood, there’s even an outtake from one of the voice actors.

Shock absorption/dampening with every step. Most kitchen floors are going to be concrete so every step has no give and the shock of the impact has no where to go but into your joints and bones.
Imagine banging your head against a brick wall over and over. Shoes are like wearing a helmet, the pads are a pillow against the wall.
I like primer, but I’m not sure I really understand it even with all the charts and diagrams that are out there
Agree he hasn’t lost his license yet, as that is currently what is being threatened if he does not comply with the court order. Hasn’t actually happened yet, just will if he doesn’t.
As for being harmful… I don’t know how to spell this out any simpler than the quote so I’ll just make it easier to read I guess?
**THE COURT DECLARED DR. PETERSON’S ACTIVITIES AS HARMFUL TO THE PUBLIC AND DAMAGING TO THE PROFESSION OF PSYCHOLOGY **
I’m really not what there is to misunderstand, he is under threat of losing his license because his actions are HARMFUL TO THE PUBLIC AND THE PROFESSION OF PSYCHOLOGY
“An Ontario court ruled against popular clinical psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson and is upholding an order for him to receive social media sensitivity training or lose his license to practice medicine… The court declared Dr. Peterson’s activities as harmful to the public and damaging to the profession of psychology, with his statements threatening to erode public trust… …He has not worked in clinical psychology since 2017,”

I love this game too, I was deeply into all three of the Escape velocity games as a kid and Endless Sky scratches that itch perfectly
Wait what, say more about used aerons for cheap
Newtons laws actually do an amazingly good job of describing motion in the realms of physics we typically interact with. Newtons laws aren’t wrong, for things like making an airplane fly and boats float, or things like throwing a ball/shooting an arrow/shooting a bullet, they’re just incomplete when you look at the “extremes” like inner planetary orbits. The main reason Einstein is so revered is because he was able to develop a theory and equations that do accurately predict what had been observed.
Almost certainly Einsteins theory is similarly incomplete, we just have to find the extremes where its predictions don’t agree with experiment and then understand what the experiment results actually mean and what could cause them.
One thing to always remember is that all these laws and theories and equations are just ways to model and predict the reality we experience. All models are wrong. Some models are useful.
Figure out who you are, learn to love yourself, and change the things you don’t like
And right now you can go look at a map of time zones. Time zones are no where near the issue that date formats are
The cold weather makes your immune system work harder, so all the normal crap you get exposed to has a higher chance to slip through the cracks and start growing.
The factor about people “huddling together” is a really bad way to say that generally people go outside less, and more time inside increases the chances of being around other people, and even if those people are not actively sick they can still be carrying enough virus to spread it. Think of it like getting sun burned, you can get exposed and be fine, some people are really good at resisting exposure, others are more sensitive, but if you do nothing to reduce exposure and nothing to protect yourself from that exposure, ya gonna get burned.
The speed of “light” and the speed of “gravity” are the same, whatever makes the speed of light be what it is has something fundamental to do with how gravity works and how it’s waves propagate.
A friend of mine introduced me to this channel and I love it. They do such amazing historical recreation of so many different aspects of pre-modern life. One of my favorites
