This year, the legislative arm in Washington has introduced three bills in the U.S. Congress against Venezuela: the Prohibition of Transactions and Leases with Venezuela’s Illegitimate Authoritarian Regime Act, the Venezuelan Human Rights “AFFECT” Act and the Venezuelan Democracy Act. The bills have a common denominator: to further increase the pressure of the blockade and impose on it a framework of “humanitarian assistance”.
Liberals don’t believe their government could attack Latinamerica
Really? I think after watching repubs like Kissinger start wars in Latina America and SE Asia for 50 years they’re kinda sick of it.
With liberals I don’t mean democrats, I mean neoliberals which include both democrats and republicans. I mean, maybe they haven’t actively been financing terrorists group in the region as often as they did but they are obviously in bed with local oligarchies, carteles and what not.
