… I’m not a mod
not with that attitude
Not a mod so far.

I dare you to start a community
I’ve thought about starting communities here but my interests seem too niche.
Start it anyway and just post images or guides from your interest.
Might as well go all Kevin Costner here I guess!
Just because you are into slugs in teal cravats it doesn’t mean it is a niche as you think.
Rule 34 man, power to you
maybe I will finally meet My People!
I started a community but it’s one that requires other people lmao
I got a couple lurkers but nothing else so far
Huh? I am not a mod, I am just an user of lemmy.world
Would you like to be? I have a NSFW community that will likely need extra help.
Haha thanks for the invite but I don’t want to be a mod because it is just a lot of work. Good luck for your community tho 👍
@[email protected] doing the Lord’s work over here.
Are we?
I guess I technically mod a community with one post (mine) and 2 subscribers (me and somebody)
I got 2 posts (both mine) and 4 subscribers (including me) 👀
Am I doing well??
That’s how it starts! 🤣
I started /r/LaborWave as a joke and like 100 people deep REAL communists showed up thinking it was supposed to be a serious platform for their message. lol
I was. Then deleted the whole shebang. I rather write idiot comments than be in charge of anything, especially my own personal blog. I’m not interested in any particular niche that you can come chat about tbh. I am, but not really. I just like using lemmy as a journal lol same way I used reddit. But I do appreciate something when I see it. I love the small self starter vibe, and I can sort by all and interact with everything and entertain myself.
I still don’t understand how this site works. I sort by Active and get posts from 2 days ago, sort by hot and get posts from last week, and I sort by new to get 10 second old posts.
Your sorting is working properly. When you sort by active, you’ll get posts that people are actively commenting on. When you sort by hot, you’ll get posts that lots of people are looking at, and when you sort by new, well, those are the new posts… so 10 seconds seems about right.
It works the same on Reddit. It’s just that there’s a lot more users, a lot more engagement and a lot more overall content over there.
Maybe not mods, but we’re the ones most engaged with the community
Never been a mod and currently not a mod
