I’m certain people publicly said far worse than this in every nation, and they were shunned and their words never made it into a printed article. I know far worse claims that have been published on YouTube and also never got an article about them.

I can’t speak for the UK, but in the USA, it’s very easy to form a registered charity organization if you are willing to bind yourself to the limitations of such. It’s not something that a government department head signs off on, or a parliamentary body votes on. It’s usually an accounting operation and a rubber stamp.
