This isn’t really an article, but a link to the AMD Vivado Design Suite’s page. If you scroll down, you will see this:

It’s a creative suite made by AMD.

How is this a creative suite?

Vivado Design Suite is a software suite for synthesis and analysis of hardware description language (HDL) designs, superseding Xilinx ISE with additional features for system on a chip development and high-level synthesis (HLS). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vivado

Saying creative suite pretty much says that it’s some kind of Adobe competitor.

I honestly had no idea as to this before I saw a previous post. That’s how AMD markets this thing, though. I’d be very appreciative as to how I can edit this post in order for it to make sense to a wider audience.

it is a suite of software for creating virtual-integrated-circuits within field-programmable-gate-arrays ( FPGAs ), for people who want to fake an integrated-circuit, or who want the most-extrememly-fast compiler, or some such thing, hardware-accelerated.

( feel free to paraphrase, no crediting-me obligatory: that gets the sense of it.

I’ve read that the fastest Haskell compiler ever made was in an FPGA )

I understand how to edit posts. Please re-read and get back to me about the implied intent of that comment.
