Had this idea off and on again for a while now, but this time I happened to be in front of a computer when inspiration struck.

Made with GIMP 3.0.4. Yes, I used the awkward {selection + normal fill + smaller selection + erase fill} method to draw the circle. There was also a bright spot in the image under the text that required a drop shadow.

Cache invalidation: The locket was cached but later substituted, resulting in stale information. Furthermore, a layer of indirection would ultimately conceal critical updates to the assumed ownership of a certain principal object.

Naming things: He wanted to live forever, but stuck himself with a name he invented as a teenager, and later banned its pronunciation. Also, another of the principal objects had a highly misleading name that tricked both the one who first received it and others later.

Off by one errors: u/[email protected] got it right, the auspicious number was spoilt by careless dilution. Meanwhile, the bearer of the third symbol escaped doom at his pleasure and contributed many an off-by-one (or two, or three) error to the occupancy of various rooms in the future.

Voldemort made 6 horcruxes so his soul would be in 7 pieces.

Diadem, Locket, Goblet, Ring, Diary, and Snek.

Harry was accidentally made into one as well, thus the off by one.

I still find it insane that gimp doesn’t have something like a circle tool, is it really too much to ask?

Can’t you just use the ellipse selection and do a trace selection?

Edit: Stroke Selection is the proper name

3.2? It took 7 years to get from 2.10 to 3.0, and now they’ve gotten to 3.2 in just a year? :o

What’s with all the pictures from that racist movie where they put a Star of David on the floor of the goblin bank?

Why is your name a reference to the most pedophilic religion in modern human history, also the subject of a movie by a man who is a major financial supporter of Zionist causes?

most pedophilic religion in modern human history

Have you run the numbers? There’s a serious competition there.

Alexis Kennedy is a bad person, but I don’t think his video games are the most pedophilic religion in modern human history.

I’m sorry for reminding you of an unpleasant experience. Though the offense you take it to be is remote in my eyes, I too was disappointed in various ways by the filmmakers’ adaptational choices.

The pictures were intended to support an additional humorous interpretation of the caption, which was a good joke on its own but probably too familiar to bear repeating without fresh context.
