    Obligatory fuck HP. Also, get an ink tank printer, changed my world for home printing, still only halfway through the first fill, after a couple of years and hundreds of pages.

      Or get a black and white laser printer if you’re mainly printing text and not photos. Laser printed text is much sharper and more readable, plus the toner can’t dry up (it’s already a dry powder) the way ink does (this is why inkjet printers do so many “cleaning” cycles).

          We use brother printers. I used a microscope to prove they mix colors with black toner just to drain color toners when you chose the B&W option.

          i have a brother and it works pretty well but i dont have tanks. the cartridges are pretty cheap (like $25 for all the colors+black. it was $100 used back in 2021 and it leaks on the floor so i put paper bags under it. also it like refuses to print yellow idky. never had hp or canon so i cant compare. idk it’s good for taxes lol

        Mine happens to be an epsom ecotank, I’ve found the software ok, no weird behaviour or restrictions and the ink is lasting really well.
