His actions in driving up the costs of fossil fuels, and showing the fragility the supply chain, is doing more to persuade other countries to divest from fossil fuels than any words from a sane president ever could. The decline of the US is an example of how it disadvantages a country to continue relying on them, while other countries forge ahead with renewables.
