Not me obviously since it’s from 1929 Poland, but this dude changed his name in court, from Huj (the most crass synonym for penis) to Haliński. Reason rather obvious.

There were also anecdotes from the same period about convertite Jews changing their last names to Polish ones twice, because they were often asked what was their former name.

Changed it for fun, because I like it more. No regrets.
