Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has threatened to attack “economic centres and banks” related to United States and Israeli entities in the region after what it called an attack on an Iranian bank, with the war in its 12th day.

It warned that “people of the region should not be within a one-kilometre radius of banks”.

“As the scope of the regional war expands to infrastructure war, the scope of Iran’s legitimate targets expands,” the agency said. The companies include Google, Microsoft, Palantir, IBM, Nvidia and Oracle, and the listed offices and infrastructure for cloud-based services are located in multiple Israeli cities, as well as in some Gulf countries, said Motamedi.

Yeah. Iran has consistently responded in kind to attacks. The US struck their radar and anti-air sites, they struck back at the same. We blew up a school, they blew up an Amazon datacenter. The US and Israel encourage domestic rebellion in Iran, suddenly synagogues are being shot up.

Like, the Iranian government is a shitty oppressive regime, but they don’t export their shittiness or make war with their neighbors.

but they don’t export their shittiness or make war with their neighbors.

They do that right now and have done it in the past as well. Lebanon is suffering under Hezbollah, which is financed and trained by Iran. Right now they are bombing civilian targets of their Arab neighours. Iran is also attacking ships in the Strait of Hormuz, which are not US or Israeli flagged or run. Also they financed and supported a lot of Shia groups in Iraq and actively supported Assads war against Syria.

What we see are three fascists countries fighting a war and a bunch of Arab countries, which are also not saints, stuck in the middle.

there were so many key events in the past 80 years where all this mess could’ve been prevented but western imperialism, colonialism and genocides always hindered any possibility of stabilizing the region.

The US got caught “saving” military personnel in hotels among civilians which is a warcrime. They used civilians as a shield which makes them responsible for deaths. There were also hits on infrastructure which supported the US Bases.

After Iran got attacked in an act of cowardice they announced they will fire at any ship trying to pass the Strait of Hormuz btw.

This war sucks for everyone involved and i can’t imagine what the people who got caught up in the middle of this shit are going through right now. But this war and it’s consequences have been the Epstein Coalition’s fault, and no one elses.

I’d generally agree with this, but let’s not frame things as the “Epstein Coalition”. The whole Epstein thing seems banal when set in relation to the insanity of American policy.
