I tried this with my cat, she just freaks out and opens her mouth wide open as if she’s suffocating…

The airholes look too small. They’re probably just enough so that it doesn’t die, but it can’t be comfortable.
There are also soft-sided carriers with mesh panels which have a lot more airflow.
The one I have have like two mesh thing on the two sides where you’d normally put water bottles on a normal backpack… isn’t that enough airflow?
But anyways my car just slept through the entire drive, I took my cat out in the park, freaked out and didn’t even wanna move and hid under a table…
so yeah I just grabbed her put back in the carrier/backpack and took her back home
eh… I kinda want a cat that acts like a dog ngl xD too bad 🤷♂️
My cat literally just rolls on the floor and bit the leash part when I tried to take her outside in a harness xD
