Also “accessibility” is abbreviated as “a11y” which I think is very charming.

And “two” and “too” both abbreviate to “t1o”, which I feel does more to confuse the situation.

    Intrnachnliseishn. Acksessibilitii. Who cares about the letters in between. In english there is no real match between a written word and how it sounds anyway. /s

      If the word is understandable, screw the spelling. Descriptivists rise up!
