Interesting, I attributed it to the data not being completely up-to-date before. And my upvote made the server do some syncing, so more current information is available
pretty sure it makes your client do the syncing.
But yes, your client syncs whenever you load the current/next page, so by the time you’re at the bottom there will be a lot of people that have upvoted before you even saw the post.
IRL, I have to explain that I saw a post on “weird open source reddit alternative”. While here, everyone is (mostly) on the same wave length.
