So if I stop my car next to a gas pump, shut it off, and get out, have I not just parked my car? If I intentionally drove to the gas station to get gas, is that not my destination?
The photo doesn’t look like a charging station yet we can clearly see OPs car plugged into one of the two charging stations visible in the photo. What else could be included to signify that its a charging station?
More and more I keep seeing businesses plopping down chargers right outside the front door, and marking previously open parking spots as “EV parking only”, giving them special privileges even if they’re not charging.
I can’t say I’ve ever seen this outside of spots with chargers attached. It sounds like you’re upset that you dont get a special designated spot at the front of every store. I know it can be tough to have to walk and extra 50 feet, but I think you’ll live.
I dont know why you’re bothering: either the other poster understands the principle of EV charging taking 20 minutes rather than the 3 minutes it takes to fill an ICE, or they’re an idiot. Either way you lose trying to explain it to them
