I’m 3yrs into having done this, and it only works because my wife has a car so really we only got rid of the 2nd car so doesn’t count.
I think it’s a really valid proposal for 2nd cars but even then only if you’re not needing to transport kids at multiple times

I feel bad that as consumers at best we label all under Trump’s banner, at worst we don’t have the ability to punish only the red states like government tariffs can do

The idea isn’t to eliminate all spend, it’s the low hanging fruit and then go from there. I’m seeing it as a game with badges to collect!!
