Venezuela A massive explosion struck a crude oil and chemical processing plant in Anzoátegui, Venezuela, one of the country’s critical energy hubs.
Footage from the scene showed a large fireball rising over the facility. Emergency crews were deployed to contain the blaze, though the full extent of the damage and any casualties has not yet been confirmed.
The plant plays a significant role in Venezuela’s already strained energy sector, raising concerns over potential disruptions to production and regional safety. Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the blast.



I don’t know how it works in Venezuela, but people I have personally known working with combustible materials were searched, including removal of shoes, for smoking apparatus, tobacco, weed, lighters, and matches.
