A pop up came up that offers cash for any info on protesters from this raid. They’re trying to delete all evidence. Please don’t be a nazi everyone. Also, don’t believe that you’ll actually get any cash.

There will be two main deflections by the ruling class for recouperation: faulting Garcia and criticizing UFW. Immigrant at fault, union bad.

“US citizen workers report only being released after they were forced to delete photos and videos of the raid from their phones,” the union said.

Oof. Also, it’s a little sketchy that they had kids working but I’m sure nobody will be held accountable for that part

Where is it mentioned that there were kids. Not doubting you, but I can’t find anything in your link or quote.

Edit: Nvmd, this is the pic. I’m not sure this is credible, this is from what looks like a meme? Anyone know where this came from?

Edit 2: It was in the article as per jeffw below.

Were there child workers, or do immigrant families not have access to childcare? All the reports I have seen have only mentioned that children were present. When I was a kid, I spent many days hanging out where my dad worked. It is summertime. All the schools are out of session.

In the posted article? My link is embedded in the original article, I didn’t add it

In a Friday statement, officials said that 10 children without documentation were identified during the two immigration operations in Camarillo and Carpinteria, Calif., at farms owned and operated by the Glass House Brands Inc.

Customs and Border Patrol commissioner Rodney Scott said on Thursday that the company is now under investigation for child labor violations.

Glass House, in response, stated it never intentionally hired underage workers.
