  • Between Windows 11 and Chrome. I had 8gb RAM on my wife’s PC and with my wife jist running those two had 3gb left. Chrome was using 3Gb alone and there were 4 tabs open. My brain hurt trying to figure that out. I went through disabling all manner of startup processes and services. Helped a little, but not with Chrome. I finally just upgraded to 16gb. She doesn’t like full reinstalls (use the damn share folder on the server and don’t worry about lost files. Yes, it is mapped, it has your name and is only 1 of the three drives listed. At least backup the important ones so I won’t have to pray Recuva works)

  • I like it. I really want to love it. I’d like an option to show all icons on press. The dealbreaker is the issue with no response. S20fe, disabled power optimization for the app, and it still wakes or loads from open apps to home as a frozen screen. With no indicator on the screen, I just tap, wait, tap, wait, click wait for app on popup, then it works, only to tell me it’s not responding despite finally working. Once this bug is gone I might use it over Nova.

  • How about everyone respect the land they’ve had for decades and stop trying to rekindle colonialism? We’re talking about Russia and Ukraine and you’re bringing in other entities into the discussion? Try keeping the train on the tracks. Russia already took over Georgia and Crimea in the past 20 years, just a slow progression to reacquire the good ole Soviet Union. If countries really wanna get the band back together, they’d do so with votes or formal agreements. When foreign tanks roll across borders, any claim of a peaceful integration is a fucking lie, and is in fact a bullying, aggressive act of war.

  • I went for cheap, and syored away. The battery sits at the bottom of the stilt legged coup with a screwed on door to keep water and chickens out. Panel just sits on the roof. I set this all up about 2mo before wyzecam with batteries were announced. Been running ever since. This time of year this area is always cloud covered, and limited daylight. The panel is an older one, not quite as efficient as the one that runs my daytime radiator fans in the hoopouse (no battery, just a 10in and 8in radiator fan that sound like jet engines on full sunny days. I tried the camp ceiling fans but they kept burning out). Fans are mostly to help prevent mold in that one, and keep heat even during summer.
