I recommend this book constantly. It’s relatable to basically everyone except the 1%.

Dude. I was at the dog park and sat down next to a friendly, hip-looking boomer. We were talking about dog names and he said he studied Latin in high school. He name-dropped some Roman poets and I thought, “What an interesting guy!” It took about 60 seconds for him to say we’re living in biblical times, Israel will topple the Muslim rulers to reclaim the kingdom, and “the West is begging Russia to nuke us.”
These people are absolutely obsessed with the death of everyone on earth. No wonder they find the most delusional sickos to represent them in government.
“Excuse me, Mr. Netanyahu, if it’s not too much trouble, we were wondering if you would consider taking a break from bombing the children… Mr. Netanyahu?”
There was a reddit post years ago, I think from /u/borax, with guidance on this scenario. Essentially he recommended splitting the cocaine up into Mason jars and burying them. As long as you were patient and didn’t tell anyone, you could have a lifetime supply of coke to sell or share with your friends.
I just listened to this episode of Casefile. The whole story is mortifying. Is the movie any good?
10,700 hostages were taken.
Also, dealers don’t check ID.
I’ve read this joke 100 times. Is this something Bibi said?
Good point. Thanks for saying that.
Honestly, he hasn’t fought much in the last 8 years. His decline is 90% from alcohol and cocaine. His talent and work ethic was incredible during his rise, but after the Mayweather fight in 2017 he couldn’t resist the Scarface lifestyle he had dreamed about. It’s a sad story, not because he’s a good person (he’s not) but because he went from this athletic anomaly to a scared, weak, delusional has-been. Truly a literary tragedy.
Who would that benefit?
I also love MMA and shared the same sentiment. I recall seeing this gallery of Joanna Jedrzeczyk’s opponents before and after.
Your opponent doesn’t need to be a man to break your face. Sometimes you’re just outmatched.
Well said. In addition to these stories demonizing trans people (or in this case, masc-looking cis people) they also fragilize women. We normally celebrate women in combat sports as feminist symbols, but suddenly we can’t stomach these delicate little angels being beat up.
I don’t know a ton about boxing, but in MMA fighters made similar comments about fighting Ronda Rousey, Cyborg, Joanna Jedrzeczyk, and Amanda Nunes. “I’ve never been hit that hard.” “She completely overpowered me.”
We already have a way of separating athletes based on their ability. It’s called competition. Sometimes you’re just outmatched.
Sure, in general people had an easier time buying a house in 1960, but that doesn’t account for individual hardship, and this attitude certainly doesn’t help people who need a place to live right now.
These are good questions. Not all arranged marriages are forced or abusive. It seems alien to me as an American, but some people value having their family vet potential partners.
The movie is exceptional also.
So because you were born with myopia, you don’t believe that some people develop it later in life? What are you talking about?
Well that’s callous of you. Nobody deserves to die just because they’re religious.
This is good to look into. I’ve tried remote streaming on several different devices. Before I bought the NAS I was sure it could handle a few streams, but maybe I was wrong.
I had the same suspicion, but I feel that’s just as unreasonable as Trump voters saying, “I didn’t think he would actually XYZ.”
