2 days agoWhat’s amazing to me is how fast they blocked the elections because the maps were found “illegal”. The state of Ohio’s Supreme Court found their election maps illegal multiple times and the legislator delayed until they said “Oh well too close to the election now ¯_(ツ)_/¯”. But now like 3 days before Louisiana’s elections suddenly they gotta shut it all down to fix such an injustice…
What a racket.
Unfortunately I’m from Ohio, a red state that has been doing this shit for years now. Ohio has been the “most geremandered” state in the union for years now. So color me surprised that another red state is doing the same thing.
I’ve worked the polls for 5 years now and will be working during our primaries next week. I also volunteer with outreach groups to try to change what’s going on and inform people. I’m trying my best to change what I can, just venting on here to be honest.
