Was going to say Obsidian, but upon verifying, realized that it’s not actually open source. Interesting.
Hey, thanks for reading my bio. You know, you’re pretty cool. I’m glad we got to share this moment together.

Yep - are you apologizing for them, or for yourself?
This sounds like a sleeping disorder, imo.
And no, ADHD medications do not make you immune to brain fog. In some situations they can make it worse, especially when they wear off.
Ask your friend if they’ve been checked for sleep apnea.
I feel like I’m losing my mind.
I remember seeing this when it first came out, was obsessed. Projection work is incredible
In this scenario I mean running or resistance training. I also enjoy hiking and tennis, which I find more enjoyable, but nothing that gives me the chemical release others describe. And not doing them does not significantly affect my mood.
I wish I worked like this. I get no such dopamine rush from exercise, even after integrating it into my routine. Skipping a day doesn’t significantly alter my mood.
However, I do have a lot of passive movements. Pacing, fidgiting, leg bouncing, etc. I’m usually constantly moving in some small way.
For real. People are assuming LPDDR5x is the same as DDR5. You cannot get the speeds of LPDDR5x without the memory being as close to the compute as physically possible.
ahhhhhhh fuck
“They look for the cracks” is an excellent way to put it.
I don’t even tell friends, except those who are very close. Too often, it changes the way people treat me.
I just don’t tell people. It never leads to anything good.
Creator-owned platforms are the answer. I pay 2.50 USD/month for Nebula, and I have a less invasive experience, no ads, and the creators are paid better.
I also pay ~5/mo for Dropout, which is entirely owned by the people who run it.
In both cases, I feel as though I’m getting more value out of my time spent watching compared to the average YouTube video. Higher quality, less fluff, less algorithm bait.
I think we are going to completely abstract from traditional ethics, entertainment, and communication, aside from a few niche communities akin to a 21st century Amish.
Ahhhhh fuck. We just got an HPE storage array. Pretty sure they have remote access into the device for support purposes.
You’d effectively be capable of being in two places at once.
I thought we were all on the same page that it’s an issue with the structure of the prefrontal cortex, no?
I used this trick a few years back during a cold snap when my furnace wasnt working. It did genuinely seem to increase the temp of my room by around ~10 Fahrenheit over an hour or so.
my understanding was capturing the hot air for a moment allowed more heat to radiate (and the pot did genuinely get to around 150 degrees according to laser thermometer) instead of the hot air rising in a narrow stream and losing its heat into the cold ceiling.
Didn’t have a fancy setup, just a spare pot balanced on three mugs over some tea candles.
This. You know your solitude is about to be broken.
