You’re arguing the wrong point in the wrong place. That people want it isn’t the problem. That it’s affordable is not the problem. That your medical industry is for profit, is the problem. That money is being made is the problem. That people are so cruel and selfish, they fight to keep making money off of your misfortune, is the problem. That politicians are beholden to corporate interests is the problem. Fight the actual problem, not the symptom.

Abolish the Republican party. Abolish corporate entities. Abolish private ownership of powerful technology. Abolish secret science in the form of private research. Everyone needs to know what you’re doing with the worlds resources and whether it’s a threat to the community. Eliminating the privacy of the powerful is the only surveillance system that is actually needed, for the safety of the community.

That America is planning to do it already proves barbarism. Just like Republicans don’t need a successful fascist takeover to prove they are fascists. They already are.

This kind of language around LLMs seem to want us to personify these systems, to treat them, in our minds, as if they are people. This, to me, is extremely fucking dangerous. I do not want the mob developing personal, emotional attachments to objects that compete with their connections to actual humans around them. Companies rarely ever reduce prices unless the product directly involves raw materials from global markets, like oil and gas. This is an excuse to blame Trump for greed. So long as profit it being made, you could be reducing prices.

It’s just a reasonable hypothesis from what Velma explained of her life, which seems to relate directly to how my words were mis-interpreted through the lens of that preexisting bias. She did not deny it or even comment about it. So maybe yes and maybe no.

If there wasn’t so much hostility right from the start, hostility bourn possibly from that bias, I would have been more open to clarifying dialogue and continued.
