Kaity

My partner and I got diagnosed. Once I got my meds I was actually able to clean the house. It feels amazing to keep up with chores and not live in filth. It always felt like I had to force myself to continue but I’m actually having fun and feeling proud of myself when I complete tasks.

Years of relating to ADHD people and memes, sure I had it and “planning” to get around to it, and I finally actually went to see a doctor.

Honestly sounds like a disaster, what stops someone from controlling information by aggressively seed-boxing their chosen agenda?

my partner is going to a psych today and I’ll be going too if it proves to be affordable

this is me to a t almost

I’ve seen a big uptick in that word usage, I don’t like seeing them and use a replacing extension to intercept and censor them to a more appropriate word, while showing an asterisk so I know it was censored. Now I don’t have to see the word, but I still get to see who is being a bigoted jerk.

Edit: ya so I guess on lemmy people think it’s cool to throw ableist slurs.

Better chat models exist ^w

This one even provides sources to reference.

Feels a lot better when my partner grabs them tbh

well… not really, it’s the romaji spelling of them.

Oh hey, it’s Ted the bug. :)

0, I buy music to support the artist. The value is giving back to a musician so they can create more.

I am sure there are instances I have forgotten, there is definitely a certain amount of bigotry, it’s not hard to find classism, sexism, and ableism as usual for the internet and I am sure I have come across racism too but I don’t remember any specifics.

Thanks for the complete rewriting of my comment to clearly show my exact nature.

Why are you upset, and what’s with the continued harassment over nothing that matters to you? Something @[email protected] already showed me was really true, to my original disbelief…

Okay, that’s kind of unnecessarily mean.

huh, I thought it looked fake, like photoshopped…

Do y’all really think this is a real image?

Edit: since people don’t follow the chain and see I was informed it was real… I now know it is real and that’s cool. Don’t be a bully like @[email protected]

Because then it’d be a romantic tragedy.

you must be one of them tankies /s

Same tbh

I just started using it today after seeing a comment on it, it may have been yours and it seems fantastic, I took a look at their demo searches and it reminded me of old google while still keeping elements from new google I find useful, and being able to disable or disable any feature I want is amazing.

I haven’t dug in too deep on making my own lenses yet, since they had some very sensible defaults (I mean seriously they have a default lemmy/fediverse lens) but that feature seems incredibly cool and useful if I want to set up something to easily search a variety of niche, focused websites on a subject I want to search on a regular basis.

I was worried about it not featuring conversions/math stuff but prepared to use WolframAlpha for that, but it included them, the only thing is oddly after providing the answer to my test math query of 88+17 it showed search results from the quran and the bible lol. But I suppose that was just a minor oddity.
