Couldn’t Japanese people who discriminate against foreigners make the same argument about culture? The sign could be used to exclude based on assumptions of culture.

Isn’t it ironic or perhaps hypocritical that you’re speaking about Japan in such generalities?

3·1 month agoThe nuclear deal with Iran that Obama led fell apart when Trump reneged, even though Europe, China, and Russia were all part of the deal and still in. In this case, Israel will keep attacking and has kept attacking even when the US has signed a deal, and since this has been the main issue, there cannot possibly be any deal that works under these conditions. The US is the largest supporter of Israel, so they’d have to pull that support and sanction before Israel maybe stops, but even with dropped support and sanctions, Israel is a death cult and may turn to using nukes to keep going.

21·1 month agoMost democracies would have toppled the government with protests already. It is fascinating how much the American public can take.
Would they though? A lot of so-called democracies are turning more and more right-wing since they’re in a similar situation with far-right parties dragging “the center” towards the right and actual left-wing parties made mostly irrelevant due to the influence of the rich. Trump and gang have the subtlety of a hydrogen bomb, but that doesn’t mean other countries aren’t also suffering from rampant corruption just because the politicians have more decorum.
Am I supposed to guess which thing I said you didn’t like?
