My entire fandoms are there. Also twitter is ok if you follow the right people, you don’t depend on the trending list and you dgaf about follower count.

I felt like this was how WhatsApp still lives on lol, and outside my in real life friends, the Discord communities I’m active in won’t be moving anywhere either

• Discord with irl and online friends
• Twitter for fandom stuff and random opinions
• Real Life dates with close friends

Nah, I do agree it’s a much more common take than people realize. Another POV I’ve seen was on the other end of this spectrum, when Malaysia actually offered to open up their borders to refugees years ago and the refugees…refused lol. Apparently they prefer to get into South Korea instead. I’ve never seen a faster 180° change in opinions regarding refugees like that time.

If I wanted privacy, I wouldn’t be browsing online.

He was a living legend, I’m glad to have read his novels and be at the same timeline. He’s simply an incredible author. My first McCarthy book was The Road and I remember thinking that the prose was so simple yet still so powerful.

It sounds like nobody will, but Instagram influencers are actually a different kind of population, it’s actually rather clever of meta to transfer the verification status. We wont be just talking about influencers but also athletes and actors.

Personally I wouldnt open an account, but I wouldn’t be surprised if these celebrity followers will create one for the fomo

Also speaking of IG, I’m still amused why Meta has yet to full utilize IG’s Stories. They kept pushing influencers to use Reels, but the bulk of their influencing is in the Stories.

Book Depository closed the other month, I don’t know if Amazon understood how important it is for people outside US and EU, but the closure really pushed everyone I know to casually switch back to piracy.
