Nothing to see here
I will try sending those links to someone who can see them. Thank you for sticking with me while I ranted lol
Well I wasn’t asking you. I just think the whole situation is bonkers. I’m going to see about reporting them to consumer protection or whatever.
Link doesn’t work 😞
It is using unicorn nozzles, yes, but I didn’t know that until I needed to replace them. Thankfully, I was still within the return window for the $40 set I bought just in case. But shouldn’t I be able to tell which parts I need before they get here? How do I know what to buy going forward? What if I get something incompatible and can’t return it?
You would think that would be the solution, but no - printer registers itself as a K1, no C or Max or anything else. That’s why I’m so confused.

Neither of these work with my machine.
I’m just saying, it’s not like I’m buying 3rd party parts. These are direct from Creality.
They’re Creality though?

Slick!

I was looking at an engraving kit, actually. And I really don’t want to do resin, I live in a small apartment. I’d have to put it outside 😂

No one here uses Craiglist, sadly. I definitely don’t have Facebook. Kijiji is where I put it. I have had really good luck there.
Oh wow, maybe they shouldn’t have let us learn to read.
If buying isn’t owning, pirating isn’t stealing.

I don’t know what any of that means, but yeah, the K1 is a billion times better.

Local listings are between $150 for stock, and $200 with upgrades. I think I’ll just donate it and save myself the hassle.

I thought of that first, actually. I really should just donate it.

Really? There are a bunch of these on Kijiji here for what I’m asking. I’d buy a resin printer for $100 CAD if I had a garage, but I see your point for sure.
I’ve said this so many times. Being a woman in a male dominated field is exhausting.

I got Jellyfin set up and available for streaming in less than two hours. Plex kept demanding that my friend buy a pass to download something, so I was like, nah. Jellyfin works flawlessly and is (in my opinion) a far superior option. I constantly had issues with Plex.
They’re super sleazy. I bought a K1 on Black Friday thinking the hardware was… like… standard? I have a completely different printer, nothing for the K1 is compatible, and the nozzles are $20 EACH, instead of $30 for a pack of 10. Total bait and switch. And they won’t respond to my emails asking what parts are compatible.
