I’m posting this comment with it right now. Many graphics on the lemmy ui are not rendering, but it’s way better than the last time I tried it about a year ago. So not “ready,” but encouraging.

Keep a journal. Every day just jot down how you’re feeling and what’s on your mind, what you plan to do/did. Its amazing how helpful this has been for me.

I’m betting hard that microplastics are actually good for us

The health insurance industry is an abomination. It’s completely across the purpose of keeping a population healthy to try to extract and concentrate wealth out of the process, and they’re dug in like a tick.

But they still use leeches! Because your hypothetical example is imperfect I’m afraid I’ll have to dismiss everything you said and go with the old, inaccurate numbers. What a shame.

I haven’t looked into it at all, but that just seems so strange. Who would pay that when the original Bitwarden app is still there for free? Most people who would even know about KeyGuard would know how to install it from somewhere else. Is it essentially a donation?

Ah, yeah, I installed it from their github with obtainium. I think open source/libre app that charges people to install with the play store is a model a few others have tried as well.

I have some! I use a self hosted vaultwarden and just two days ago I saw and installed KeyGuard out of curiosity. So far, I can say KeyGuard is a nicer looking and feeling app and… it works. So as long as their intentions are pure, you can use “bitwarden” without using any of their software or infrastructure.

If “your” phone belongs to your employer that’s the choice you made. It isn’t yours.

Alcohol. Last drink was 42 days ago. I was getting very drunk every day for years. I feel pretty good right now, getting therapy to work through the issues that I was self-medicating. Also making some big positive changes.

I guess it’s too early to say with confidence that I “kicked” it, but I haven’t gone this long without a drink for a very long time and I’m determined to never touch alcohol again.

I think he’s correct and there’s a ton of cope going on on lemmy right now. I also think tons of art/graphic design jobs will disappear never to return.

I’m not sure what your point is. Even people voting for Biden because Fuck Trump have reasons to be concerned about the current/next president having pudding brains. Assuming Trump loses, once the election is over that’s still going to be a pressing issue.
