Sure, we could say viscous liquids can use mass. I’d say most liquids with a viscosity close to water will be easier to measure out by volume than risk over pouring when going right into weigh boat / mixing bowl.

All solids should be listed by weight.
All liquids should be listed by volume.
SI units only. (Grams for solids, mL for liquids)
More graduated cylinders and volumetric flasks in the kitchen please.
Never interrupt your opponent while he is in the middle of making a mistake
Then get mad about the cuts to the much needed programs and the corrupt people cutting them. Not at the other expenses they’ve decided not to cut.
I live in a Navy town with 3 such golf courses. I know plenty of rank and file who have play them regularly.
So the Armed Forces have some golf courses that their servicemen can enjoy when off duty (and some are even open to civilians) and, surprise surprise, they require some maintenance and upkeep dollars.
I feel like this piece is some manufactured outrage. Let the members of the armed forces have nice places to relax… they should be allowed some reprieve from their role as cogs in the war machine.
Used to be that BMWs were driven by the worst (asshole) drivers on the road. In the past year, my wife (first) and I have noticed that that crown now lies firmly on the head of Tesla drivers… and it’s not even close.
Are you kidding me? I’ve seen this point in Reddit for a decade now. It comes up in r/politics all the time
So they can ensure they’re only parroting the party’s lines when they do resume communications.
What are you talking about? There were a lot more cuts to the Bipartisan funding bill, outside of the proposed debt ceiling increase. Looks like the Republicans still get all the cuts they wanted, just no debt limit increase. This is definitely being celebrated as a win on their side.
Absent were provisions that had infuriated Trump and his right-wing allies, including cost-of-living increases for lawmakers and giving Washington, D.C., control over a stadium site that could be used for the Washington Commanders NFL team. The legislation also excluded health care provisions to overhaul laws around pharmacy benefit managers, or PBMs, that were agreed to in the previous deal.
Secret ballot helped I guess. Hard for Trump to tell who defied him and didn’t vote for his candidate of choice.
Watching TNG reruns nightly as an 8 year old really gave me some hope for humanity’s potential.
Nah, DJT is real AF.
He said he’s gonna round up 20+ Million immigrants, I believe it. He says he’s gonna send the military after the enemy within, like Pelosi and Schiff, I believe it. He says don’t worry, no one’s ever going to need to vote again, to keep him in power, I definitely believe it.
Nah, I’m all for auditing the results, and ensuring no fuckery went down. But when I see a bunch of commenters come out of now where and say that their vote wasn’t yet counted, I get skeptical. Especially when that’s the exact thing the other side was saying 4 years ago.
Russias goal is to spark a civil war. They’ll come in and say whatever in favor of either side if they think it’ll increase the anger between them. Just be careful what you read.
Even if they turn out to be a Russian troll, just trying to sow discord among the American public?
South Korea has as a staggeringly low birth rate, well below the replacement rate. Even if it doesn’t change the minds of men today, in the long run it will help shape the population in significant says.
Haagen Daaz has been the only brand worth buying for at least a decade now.
I don’t expect that to come first. First they’ll go for the “illegals” which will likely be any brown people regardless of immigration status.
That will probably take them a couple years. But the outrage it causes will compel the “dissidents” to speak out and resist. At this point, they’ll really turn up the propaganda machine on them, demonizing them and making them easy targets. By the next election cycle (if we even have one by then), they’ll start round them up and it will all be over.
I mean, he’s an ex-pat who was living in Hong Kong, S Korea, and Vietnam for most of Trumps first term… so I’m sure he didn’t feel it as hard as most of us who were here for it.
I’ll celebrate a day I don’t have to go to work
