Like for a while the most violent gangs in Mexico were trained by the US, the glamourised US involvement in Mexico/Latin American in general has consistently increased violence, which makes sense, there is no motivation to escalate violence if you’re primary purpose is to sell drugs, but if your job is violence (US armed forces and police) then you’re motivated to escalate violence, and naturally that will be met with violence and if you’re a white supremacists (most Americans are, it’s litterally a cult where you swear allegiance to it as a child) the fact you see the dead bodies as worth less than yours sure helps.
