Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a Daredevil parody/love letter.
They get their powers from the same accident that gives Matt Murdoch his.
Mentor? Splinter / Stick. Enemy? The Foot / The Hand.

And some men wonder why some women would choose a bear.

Yup, I am always playing with nonsense lyrics and scatting.
Idris Elba shows up a lot because it’s a fun one to scat.

Fair point, I was ignorant of their weekends. But I was also considering that their society has been in disarray during protests for months.
Even that doesn’t mean there wouldn’t be school.
I still distrust news that comes from any of the regimes at play here.
And any deaths of civilians would be tragic. Of course if a school was indeed hit that would be a horrific thing.

After months of protests, I truly doubt a bunch of girls were at school on a Saturday.
Just like the US said Iraq was removing premature infants from respirators in Kuwait. Bullshit.
Just like Israel said Hamas was beheading babies. Absolute nonsense.
It’s meant to generate rage first and foremost, to dehumanize the enemy.
War is dehumanizing enough.
I do not trust Iran one bit. Iranians, maybe. They’re the ones suffering here. But the regimes at play here can all get fucked.
I’ve had an idea for years I really want to try using this system.
The basis is the SCP story “What happened to site 13?”
And the answer is ridiculous, I won’t spoil everything but in the end they win by sending the site to an alternate dimension.
So I want to do that, have them win, then translate the end state into a dungeon in my D&D world for them to conquer.
I suppose that will have to be posted there and not here, hah.
We are very lucky there.
Our youngest cat, Maryjane, is the enforcer. Any new animals in the house get hassled by her until they meet her standards.
Doesn’t matter how unruly the dog is, she will patiently hiss and bat at them until they chill a bit.
Well, where are you?!
I’m in northern Minnesota and could likely talk my wife into adopting a homeless cat!

I often think of myself as a fuckup, especially lately as I am unemployed.
But when I look at my life honestly and with open eyes, I know I am a decent person who has grown and tried to make up for my past wrongdoing.
And I don’t know that there is much else to ask from anyone except that alone, to continue to try to grow and be better in some ways.
I can always beat myself up with would’ves and could’ves, but I can’t redo.
The only chance I have to do things differently is now.
Dan Harmon has said the producer did this magic for him. He would often tell Dan that, no, they were over budget when they weren’t, so he could then say yes to the best ideas, actors/cameos, etc.
I’m a huge superfan. My ringtone is Professor Professorson’s.

Or… this is the crime they have the actual evidence to prosecute.

There was a ravine out back of my house in Ohio in the early 80s.
We had a ton of fun cleaning it up and exploring up and down the creek. There was a shale cliff nearby and we would snap off pieces and skip stones.
Solid memories of free time in the local wilderness when I was a tot.

‘Elder statesmen.’

I’m hoping it’s to run for president, but that is likely just hopium.

I’m just here to say that “We’ve never seen this level of surveillance” is a weirdly hilarious thing to say.
Not saying this isn’t a horrible situation at all, just giggled at that.

I hate having to drive in the snow.
I love getting to, especially when it’s fresh, fluffy stuff, undisturbed in an empty parking lot.

I live in Duluth, MN.
In 1991 it started snowing on Halloween and didn’t stop for something like four days.
We had four feet of snow in our yard. The town was paralyzed for days.
My sister and I took three hours walking to the corner store and back. She had to walk behind me because she was too short to even break a path through the snow.
It was so much fun.
I think it’s just tier enough.
