That’s a good tip, I already used that for invoices and order updates on my work mail. But I could also do that for my personal mail.

I have no idea, it’s an old email I used for a lot of services before I knew about email aliases like Mozilla relay.
Like I said, most of them are useful once, like a shipping notification or a sign in security code. But most of the time I just copy the code from the desktop notification and leave the email. I don’t know why so many services moved from a password based login to email security codes, it’s annoying that’s for sure.
I’ll try to set up some filters to delete them after a day.

What about crawfish though?
For me a Pomodoro timer works well. 25 minute task, 10 minute break, repeat. But to be honest I did spend the day playing dwarf fortress till 16:00, then rushing the task I had alloted the entire day for in 90 minutes.
I’m taking the slow release methylphenidate, the barrier to actually start a task gets lower and I don’t feel as drained after a day of work. Downside is it makes me somewhat more irritable, but ymmv.

Good suggestion!

I did that once and the before/after dopamine is nice. But the downside is that looking back at the after photo and realising that it looks like shit again after 10 weeks is even more depressing.

TIL about manwich and hamburger helper, those look disgusting indeed. Only similar thing we had is
which was not to bad actually if you add your own veggies.

As someone with ASD and ADD I feel ya

For some meals yes, but most of the time the serving sizes are fine. I use the filtering options so I get more calories from proteins, maybe my recipes are more filling?
Haha, seems recognizable. Blender x has a pulse setting, but blender y has an extra mini bowl for herbs. Can’t choose so I’ll just forget about it.

I use a meal planning app (Mealime), just fill in the amount of people/servings. Pick a few recipes and you have your grocery list for the week. We eat with 2, so I just set my serving size at 4 people and eat the leftovers every other day.
Thanks for the suggestion, I’m trying protonmail now and the aliases are really nice, too bad you have to set them up in Proton pass though, that app is not as good as bitwarden. Only downside so far is that all emails end up in the same inbox, so I have to do some extra sorting and labelling to get things organised.
The discussion got derailed a bit in the privacy aspect. I think Proton mail has pretty good privacy(good enough for me). I don’t think they will get a court order to release my emails any time soon. It’s good to know they offer some protection against mass surveillance and don’t sell your data for marketing.
