Then i guess we agree, my comment was about ads, not all kinds of other stuff.

I rarely use the app store either, but it amazes me that Apple thinks that is just fine…

As I wrote in my other comment: I have seen ads in settings, they recently put an ad for their F1 movie in the wallet app and don’t get me started on the App store.

Depends on what you define as the OS. They put ads for their F1 movie in the Wallet app recently. I’ve seen ads for their services in the settings menu.

Apple has generally not had ads anywhere. However in recent years they are placing ads in more and more locations, making the user experience worse. Do you disagree with that statement?

Apple was the safe haven, but they too are going that route…

Well, that’s pretty stupid 🤦♂️ It’ll most certainly not save the German auto industry.

No one wants anything like that near where they live. Though personally, I have nothing against wind turbines as long as they are placed far enough away to not disturb you. Like I really don’t see the problem with wind turbines 10-20km from the coast which some people think completely ruins the view.
As for nuclear power plant in Denmark. One reason I don’t see it happening anytime soon is exactly due NIMBY. We have yet to figure out what to do with the small amount of leftovers from the Risø reactor.

The only reason? I’d like to see proof of that. We have quite a few power plants around the country. However, you right that it is a great advantage we work together with our neighbours.
I think various kinds of batteries will become a huge deal in the coming years.

I’m not against nuclear power, but I don’t see it becoming a thing in Denmark. It is simply too expensive compared to solar and wind.

I’m not saying it’s the optimal solution for everyone, nothing is.

Electric bikes have become really popular and common here in Denmark. I only have around 5km to work, so no need for an electric one, but if I had perhaps 20km to work, I’d buy an electric bicycle instantly.

I don’t think that’s how to look at it. There’s clearly something less than optimal about having these huge gatekeepers (as I believe is the term used) and the EU is trying to limit their power.

I’m generally ok with them requiring basic security and privacy protections through the notarization.

Before, there’s basically nothing left of it.
As I wrote, they are going in the wrong direction 😕
