There was a former CIA guy or so he claimed that pretty much made the claim the only people they didn’t fuck with in the intelligence community was Mossad. It happens with any people that are heavily bound to religious practices, routines and rituals. Some places are much less religious than others, but that’s been my experience working with about a a hundred different people that aren’t from where I was born
I think this is far more normalized in the US to bring god into everything.
Not at all. I work with a lot of immigrants and wherever religion is heavily involved in the culture they come from, god or gods always get the credit. Jesus, Yahweh, Allah, Ganesha, Buddha, Holy Spirit, it doesn’t matter. It’s all the same different rules.
Most art needs context or understanding of a subject before it can be fully experienced. Something children generally don’t have the base of knowledge to understand or appreciate. Though there is certainly art that is meant singularily with just the work itself sans anything else.
Needing that art history to appreciate it doesn’t work for kids most of the time.
Science helps children understand the world they are a part of. They need it in a way that art generally doesn’t.
This also changes depending on what science is on display but kids as already exposed to art in the form of media and the decor of the places they live.
Higher science or perhaps a better term might be more complicated science needs advanced education to be digested, and also much of science that is new to people would need to be read and understood in publication or it is behind restricted areas for safety and also IP reasons so not really something you can bring kids to to show them.
So it makes sense, it’s not too difficult to understand. But there also is room for taking the time and effort to create museums that DO allow those things that usually arent allowed.
Art in action IS a museum/gallery
Science in action will often get you killed without proper safety and that would add significant cost to projects that already have funding issues.

I wonder if that’s influenced by inventory control industry. Motorola/Zebra has been in that industry in a way that Samsung/apple/LG hasn’t been and they run Android now almost by default. I’ve used some older windows ce devices and modern ones are using Android, having more control over the device would be a huge advantage for those devices.
Next time you see someone doing inventory/receiving try and get a look at what devices they are using.

I work in auto parts. I processed warranty returns for about 5 years as my main task for a while. We didn’t get many led bulb warranty/defective returns. Hella, Sylvania, Osram, Heliolite, and can’t remember the other brand we typically sell. Those brands have very very few returns that weren’t “we fucked up and ordered the wrong part”
