Doesn’t really matter all that much since Europe is able to buy shells from non-European countries. South Korea manufactured more 155mm artillery shells than all of Europe combined in 2023 - and that is in addition to the ones that are produced in the EU.
Europe used to be Russia’s largest trading partner before the sanctions. The US won’t be able to bail them out.
This dude looks so much like the Austrian neo-nazi Martin Sellner that it’s actually uncanny. I genuinely thought this was him. Maybe they are long lost brothers?
That is only the number that has been independently verified from online obituaries and funeral announcements. It should be mentioned that it is much lower than even the most conservative estimates. The actual number of deaths is most likely closer to 200.000, though exact estimates are basically impossible.
And about 4-5% of their male population eligible for military service.
Here’s your answer, at least in theory:
These guys have been thrown into the middle of a conflict of similar looking people wearing similar camo and using similar weapons while speaking almost indistinguishable languages. This is probably not the only time this will happen.
Or maybe even Královec.
The latest info on the 18 North Korean deserters is that they were stationed in a forest without any command or supplies for 4 days and left their post because the alternative was starvation. They were picked up by the Russians soon after.
The Ukrainians that I’ve talked to have a very different opinion on this.
Of course, The Guardian - the famous tabloid without any actual news lol
Honestly, Moldova is too divided in this regard. Not to mention the Transnistria issue. If they were to join the EU in their current state, there’s a chance we’d just end up with another Hungary/Slovakia situation. They need much more time IMO.
That’s not the place that Navalny’s team published the photos of. This one was more like a dacha. His Palace is even closer to Ukraine, but way too expensive to be demolished like that. He has been there only a few times since it was built.
Probably to prevent the bad optics of Ukraine blowing it up with their new long range drones. His residence was about 600km away from the frontline, well within reach.
Here:
Social compensation benefits for war victims
War victims are entitled to social compensation benefits if their health was affected by events in connection with one of the two world wars.
The number of war victims and their surviving dependants is declining sharply due to demographic factors. However, there may still be people in the future who suffer from the effects of the world wars. This may be the case, for example, with mines, grenades or bombs that have not yet been discovered or rendered harmless - so-called unexploded ordnance. People who suffer damage to their health as a result of unexploded ordnance are entitled to social compensation benefits.
I couldn’t really find much else about the way it’s handled locally, it’s thankfully not really a common thing. I first heard about it in some TV documentary.
This is me waiting for the new Mafia installment
But hey, we might get a decent CoD or Battlefield game out of it in a couple of years.
Not sure how it’s handled in Japan but I know this is how it works in Germany and France, for both WW1 and WW2.
Lmao what? There won’t be a push for Kyiv anytime soon. And not from Kursk on the other side of the country. Even the worst scenarios don’t include Kyiv getting captured at this point.
