That’s the site not working in microsoft edge neither. I just tried the troubleshooting mode in ff, still the same. It does work with ff on mobile though. Luckily i ordered my new kettlebell last week when it still worked, gonna take a while 'til i need a heavier one :)
Actually i don’t remember all, since i followed links from other sites. Others i found a workaround. The only one i tried to make work and still can’t is suprfit.com.
Yes, that makes sense.
I think ist depends on the reflected wavelengths.
Welcome to the internet ;)
I have cookies and javascript completely disabled and can read it without any problems. (firefox on laptop, noscript, idontcareaboutcookies)
I really love the idea of a tropical plant necromancer!
I’m not surprised that the author of a article in favour of deep fake porn (although disguised as a pilosophical “centrist” view) is male.
I remember being astonished by them as a child. They were so tall! I’m still glad every time i see one. They’ve made a comeback since the 80s but are still not common (Germany).
Well, i wouldn’t be able hold a desktop job. So far i’ve worked construction and social work (at a outside place). I need a minimum of physical exercise and new-ish input to function and focus. I’ve heard about people using some kind of treadmill under the desk or pezzi balls to sit on. Music helps too when i have to do paperwork. Currently i use some downtempo electro for that.
By which translator/reteller?
There are quite a bunch i hold dear. If I really have to chose one of them I say Sämtliche Gedichte (Complete Poetry) by Hilde Domin.
What’s yours btw @[email protected]
I haven’t read it for some years, but i remember it fondly. I was very impressed by it. It got me starting to read Keats btw.
I love the poetry focused version by Ursula K. Le Guin:
I wanted a Book of the Way accessible to a present-day, unwise, unpowerful, and perhaps unmale reader, not seeking esoteric secrets, but listening for a voice that speaks to the soul. I would like that reader to see why people have loved the book for twenty-five hundred years.
Very cool! One of those i didn’t manage to spot so far.
Only communities afaik.
Thanks for elaborating!
Most people who try their hands on this book probably know wether they like this kind of story telling (if they get that information before) and wether a trans persons biography is outside their comfort zone. Some will even read it because it’s outside of it. But i suspect biased people will use the non-linear story telling as a pretext to bash the book and thereby the story and person behind it.
Sometimes, I think we as people put the focus on something that isn’t the actual issue. But it takes a lot of reflection and introspection and can be uncomfortable.
Yes, that’s so true. I still have to work on it, despite many years of practice.
On another note, this conversation made me read the wikipedia article on Page and rather curious about the book. I barely knew their name before and never saw a film with him.
English isn’t my first language. So, do you mean that regarding this book in particular or in a more general sense?
Why do you think that’s stupid?
