Perhaps Biden should take note of his religious leader…
I noticed this Black Friday, almost all name brand items totally disappeared, and most deals were garbage Chinese knockoffs/non-name brand. Then immediately after Black Friday, I saw a huge return of name brands in their featured products/deals.
I also bought a new Microsoft Surface Slim Pen 2 (for $90) recently and got a total Chinese knockoff piece of shit in a package labeled “fashion jewelry.” Total wish.com trash listed as name brand.
Amazon didn’t publish my review (I’m assuming because I said this was becoming a rampant issue on Amazon. Did refund me, but the Chinese knockoff listed as a Slim Pen 2 is still listed on Amazon.
I went and paid the same price on ebay for a factory-sealed brand new legit one. What a change we have undergone when eBay is a safer marketplace than Amazon…
Oh for sure… This was two white ladies flying from Florida to our home state of New Jersey for a funeral. This was also before peak TSA insanity.
But yeah, they passed the melanin check.
Someone did that to my grandma with a huge knife in her bag. My mom was eventually able to convince them someone put it in there, asking them what possible reason would this old lady have to smuggle a giant knife.
I think it was either just to get rid of it, or to see if she got thru, and maybe they’d try to take it back out of her bag on the other side of TSA. We gave her a lot of crap for it.
I hate to be the one to make a useless comment, but that name…
Can’t not think of a fusion of Donald Trump and Elon Musk.
Ah, guess I’m too conditioned by the rampant whataboutism nowadays.
If they meant those individuals, fair enough. Seemed like a whataboutism towards Biden to me tho.
Laughable to assign that to Biden. I’m not a fan, but there’s no whataboutism to be had on this particular subject. The two are not comparable.
Show me where Biden sucked down putin’s cock and balls like trump gobbled down over our own intelligence agencies.
But trump isn’t president any longer…
Yeah, it is most definitely in the US/NATO’s best interests to continue supporting Ukraine against russia, as the longer the conflict continues, the more severely russia cripples itself against any future conflicts. It’s already an impossibility for russia to feasibly launch a successful offensive against any NATO nation at this point.
Why the hell would we stop supporting Ukraine when that serves to further our own interests and further weaken our greatest enemy?
That is, unless you’re a compromised republican/MAGA moron… (Hope it’s clear I’m not referring to the user above me here.)
This is a section from an evidence-based module on coping with procrastination, but I find some of the strategies are also helpful for distractions/a screwed up routine. It has a great electronically fillable weekly planner chart on page 10.
All of the resources on that site are free and evidence-based (meaning proven beneficial; not some self-help crap). I used that site a lot when I was a caseworker for adults with serious mental illnesses (SMI). I benefitted myself from teaching the information in groups and clinical interventions.
Even before I got to the last part where you talk about nicotine cravings, my first thought was caffeine withdrawal. When I have a caffeine dependence (like always) I get that feeling until I’ve had my strong coffee.
If I don’t drink coffee, I get an ache/tightness in my neck, headaches, difficulty concentrating, and irritability.
Man, you really can’t comprehend analogies, can you?..
I know what hyper-focus is on a personal level as someone with ADHD. I also have a BS in psychology, 6 years experience as a specialized caseworker for adults who are disabled due to serious mental illness, and I was just accepted into a clinical counseling masters of science program.
You are so utterly misguided and this is not only falling flat, but it’s trivializing the symptoms people struggle with. It’s not helpful. In fact, it is the opposite…
I’m not raging. I’m perfecly calm. I’m just from NJ haha.
And it’s called an analogy; not a tangent.
What are you talking about? How on earth did you extrapolate that?
Or did you take the fact that concentration problems aren’t typically constant as a positive trait somehow?
If someone has seizures every hour, it doesn’t make their seizures a positive trait just because they’re not constant.
I have EDS. I am 31 and haven’t had a day without pain since 2nd grade. It’s made me a tough son of a bitch with a crazy pain tolerance. That’s come in handy, like when I jumped in to save my dog from a stray that attacked him. You can say my pain tolerance is a positive outcome of my degenerative joint condition.
If you came up to me trying to frame my suffering as something I should be chipper about, I’d probably chew you up and spit you in the trash.
This is just blatantly ignorant to anyone with any sense. You’re just being disrespectful and demonstrating that you are disconnected from the reality of the situation.
This is like asking someone: “Are you sure you have a bad heart? You don’t appear to be having a heart attack right this very second.”
Having concentration problems does not mean one can never concentrate. Especially ridiculous to propose in response to such a short comment.
I personally think you’re some young kid that believes they figured out some new age bullshit or something.
That was absolutely my first thought. Haven’t looked at their history, but saw this post and one on the Autism community back-to-back.
I feel like their intentions are good, but the results are insulting and borderline delusional.
Those are fair points, but that strategy won’t work if they attack a NATO nation. Even without the support of the US, NATO would wipe the floor with russia.
Their stockpiles and equipment were neglected over years. They once held a significant strength in their military. But it was systemic corruption that eroded their status as a military superpower. That’s clearly a myth at this point, no doubt…
