Take a cooking class. Learn how to manage a kitchen fire with a fire blanket or extinguisher and get one of each. Start practicing. You’ll burn stuff and make food that’s no good but you’ll get better. Start simple with stuff like pasta.

Something to talk to your therapist about maybe. Definitely focus on yourself as your priority though. Do things which make you happy, exercise, seeing friends / family, spending time outside.
Sounds like you’re still working through depression to me. Be kind to yourself, give yourself time to heal and work through things, I’m glad you’ve found a therapist that’s a great step. Do you think you want to go back to the industry or could you be avoiding it subconsciously? Something that has helped me a lot is journaling, you can wipe down your goals and break them down into smaller goals if needed.
I think that’s maybe a bit harsh compared to a lot of the games mentioned here. Witcher 1 definitely has a lot of problems compared to 2 and 3 but it had a lot going for it as well. Sure the combat was broken as hell once you got all the spinning moves and it was super sexist with the women as trading cards thing. But the story and world building were still fun and Geralt was well characterised. It’s not a great game but it did well enough to get them the sequels. Definitely nowhere near the worst game I’ve played.
Talk to your Dr again. Antifungal tablets have a not insignificant chance of messing with your liver, ie permanent damage so you should avoid them if you can.
Yes I’m theory but it’s very difficult / unlikely to happen.
Max Power Racing on the PS1. Surprisingly good fun. Plus I had to get it out of the way before I played Crash Bandicoot and Tomb Raider.
I’m playing it via an emulator and it’s working nicely. I didn’t realise there was a mobile port. Though I can see how it would work well for the touchscreen pretty easily.
I’m really digging advanced wars currently.
Seems to be free on Android. Thanks for the recommendation though, seems fun from my first run ☺️
We have evidence of trepanning (drilling holes in the skull) going back to the flint tools time period. We still use this today to release pressure after a bleed in the skull.
For me just long press on the word suggestion and a bin appears in the middle of the screen.
I remember crying videos about people being mean. It was a few years ago I don’t really remember any details.
We used to watch a lot of game theory. Really enjoyed the over analysis. Stopped part way down the 5 nights at Freddie’s rabbit hole when all the drama started.
There’s a really good Kurzgesagt (in a nutshell) about this topic. (Also their videos are excellent in general, highly recommend their YouTube channel).
My thoughts on this are: we may not have free will but it still feels like we make choices so I will continue to choose to do things which matters to me and enjoy my time in the universe.
Snap I’m really enjoying this season. Hopefully they can stick the ending.
They are really useful if you’re in hospital and too unwell to go out for a cigarette.
Yup, several times. The joys of working in healthcare.
Do you have a game of choice? I’ve just finished running a Dresden files accelerated game which was a lot of fun.
We don’t as far as I know. St John is usually pronounced Saint John. Though English is weird and you might have come across a local pronunciation. Do you know where abouts in the UK that one comes from?
