    This is why I exclusively do audiobooks now. Still happens, but nowhere near a tenth as much.

    Also, ingesting a Discworld novel in stead of traffic noise while still being able to see where you’re going so you don’t die is pretty damn rad!

      I feel like audio books might help me, but I also really prefer having physical books (one reason is I distrust digital media services).

        I guess you could do both if you prefer 🤷

        If the worry is that you might lose access to your digital library by relying on a corporation not to fuck you over, you could always pirate them.

        And if that feels wrong to you, I’m pretty sure that most authors have patreons or the like that you can donate to 🤷
