I could see that, but I could also see macropads being useful for your average gamer who wants to control more common apps like discord, steam, and their browser.
ALSO, if you loop this bad boy into Home Assistant or some other smart home API, you can potentially control your smart home devices and automations from your desk.
So many possibilities!
Why not just using scripts with shortcuts or aliases? When opening your desired program, also make the launcher to open a terminal too with a script that shows you all the shortcuts so you only have to click there and press a letter or a number. The only catch is the wheel, but that’s $70 for wheel.
I have a Keybow Mini with this firmware installed to send API calls to turn on/off some of my smart home devices. I just wish that the firmware was a little easier to program lol.
