      Affordable to whom? People who have high enough paying jobs to actually save and are also able to take time off from work? That’s “plenty” of people, sure. But they’re all assholes. At least here in the U.S.

          There are a surprising number of these losers on lemmy.

          They think having literally any money, any financial stability or disposable income makes you the ‘ultra rich’ enemy.

          Owning a car is too rich for many of them, forget owning a house, and if your net worth ever exceeds a million dollars you need the guillotine.

          Then they’re shocked the working class aren’t on board with them.

            Once upon a time, a net worth of a million was a fortune. Now, it’s basically the minimum for a comfortable retirement.

            Inflation has made millionaires working class.
