Let’s say you have a mechanism in your DJ software that seems to somehow have a 16 * 16 grid, conway’s game of life and an interface that’s very similar. I can start pursuing legal action if I believe you’re making gains off it. The more money someone makes off it, the more likely it becomes, since courts aren’t free, international laws, etc etc. You’d also get reputational damage, especially if you’re a smaller company
